The 2004-2005 North American Pairs Qualifying Games

At local clubs during June, July and August

Qualifying events for the 2004-2005 North Anerican Pairs will be at the Local Clubs during the months of June, July and August. There will be no Unit Finals in District 17. This means that any pair that has qualified in a club- or unit-sponsored qualifying game is elgible to play in the NAP District Championship.  There are also no District 17 sanction fees so the cost to play in the qualifying games is reduced from previous years.

The NAPs are organized into flights ultimately leading to the 2004-2005 NAP National Championship:

Flight A

Unlimited Masterpoints

Flight B

0-2000 Masterpoints

Flight C

Non-Life Masters with fewer than 500 Masterpoints

This grass-roots competition can lead to great things! Fifty percent of the field in each qualifying game will earn the right to compete in the NAP District 17 Championships to be held in Albuquerque on January 21-22, 2005 in conjunction with the Navajo Trail Regional. Pairs finishing 1st and 2nd in each flight of the District Final competition who elect to participate in the National Finals at the Spring NABC in Pittsburg, March 10-20, 2005, will be reimbursed for supersaver round trip airfare. The 1st place pairs in each flight will also be reimbursed for up to three nights lodging (six nights if sharing with another NAP Finals participant). The Northern Colorado Unit will reimburse all players that qualify for participation in the National event.
