Local High Scores

Perfection at bridge is impossible. We all know how true this is. Even 70%+ games are a rarity, so it is news-worthy when they occur. It's usually a 70%-er that wins nationally tallied match point events when thousands of tables are in play, but many times a score of 65% or better is good enough. Frequent tournament players, familiar with playing in 13+ table sections with 12 top and a 156 average, find that a 70% game is 218.4, or an average of 8.4 match points per hand. Such high-scoring games are usually a fortuitous combination of good play and good luck. Here is a list of local high-scoring games since October 19, 2009.
